100% Wool Area Rugs

Wool is the classic rug fiber because it does almost everything well. It is naturally springy, so the pile bounces back under furniture and foot traffic. Its natural lanolin helps it resist spills and dirt, it is naturally flame resistant, and it takes color deeply, so wool rugs keep their richness for decades. This collection gathers every rug and pillow we carry with a 100% wool pile: hand-knotted Pak-Persian, Turkish, Ziegler-style, Kazak and Moroccan-style rugs, flat-woven kilims and dhurries, and kilim pillows. Many are made from hand-spun wool, whose slightly uneven yarn creates the gentle color shifts called abrash. Use the filters to narrow by size, color, style and price.
