Runner Rugs

Runner rugs are long, narrow rugs for the places people walk the most: hallways, entries, along a kitchen island or beside a bed. Each wool runner rug here wears well and hides everyday dirt. Choose a Persian-style runner in hand-knotted Pak-Persian and traditional designs with detailed borders, a tribal or geometric runner in red and blue, or a flat-woven kilim runner that lies flat and is easy to clean, which makes it ideal as a kitchen runner. To size a hallway runner, measure the hallway and leave 4 to 6 inches of floor on each side and 6 to 12 inches at each end. Common sizes are around 2.5x8 and 3x10, and a long runner covers bigger halls and entryways. Each listing shows the exact size.
