Bamboo Silk Area Rugs

Bamboo silk is a fiber spun from bamboo pulp. It is close to viscose and has a silky sheen and soft hand, at a much lower price than real silk. The rugs here are modern Ziegler-style designs hand knotted with bamboo silk, in blue, gray, ivory and gold, in sizes from about 5x8 to 9x12. In the right light the bamboo silk areas glow against the wool, which gives a calm, modern design a little luxury. Like viscose, bamboo silk is softer than wool and sensitive to water, so blot spills quickly and use a professional cleaner. Each product page lists the rug's exact pile materials.
