How you pay, and how we protect it.

Arsh's Rugs accepts every major payment method — credit and debit cards, digital wallets, PayPal, and Buy Now, Pay Later through Afterpay and Klarna. Every transaction is processed through PCI-compliant, encrypted checkout.

Every transaction on arshs.com is processed through PCI-DSS compliant payment infrastructure. Arsh's Rugs does not see, handle, or store your full credit card number on our systems at any time — payment data is captured directly by our payment processors and tokenized.

SSL / TLS Encryption

Every page of arshs.com uses 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption to secure data in transit between your device and our servers.

PCI-DSS Level 1

Our payment processors (Shopify Payments, PayPal, Afterpay, Klarna) maintain PCI-DSS Level 1 compliance, the highest standard in the industry.

No Card Storage

Arsh's never stores your full card number, CVV, or PIN. Saved cards in your account are securely tokenized by Shopify or PayPal.

Address & CVV Verification

Every transaction is verified through Address Verification System (AVS) and CVV matching to prevent unauthorized use.

Suspicious Activity

If we detect anything unusual with a payment — a billing address mismatch, an unusually large order, or a flagged transaction — we may pause the order and contact you to confirm. This protects you and us, and is part of how PCI-compliant retailers operate.

Credit & Debit Cards

When you pay with a credit or debit card, your bank places an immediate authorization hold on your account for the order amount. This isn't a charge — it's a temporary hold that confirms the funds are available. The hold becomes an actual charge when we ship your order, typically within one to three business days.

If you use a debit card, the authorization hold reduces your available balance until the actual charge posts. If your order is canceled before it ships, the hold is released — but depending on your bank, it can take up to 10 business days for the funds to become available again. This is a function of your bank, not Arsh's.

Digital Wallets & Express Checkout

Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay let you complete checkout with a single tap or biometric confirmation. Your card information is securely tokenized — even we don't see it. These are the fastest and most secure ways to pay.

PayPal

If you pay with PayPal, you'll be redirected to PayPal's secure login to confirm the payment, then returned to our checkout. PayPal's Buyer Protection applies to eligible PayPal transactions — see PayPal's Buyer Protection policy.

Receipts & Statements

Charges on your card statement will appear as "Arsh's Rugs" or "ARSHS RUGS" (some banks abbreviate). Receipts are emailed to you immediately at checkout and again when your order ships.

For purchases that you'd rather pay over time, Arsh's offers three Buy Now, Pay Later options at checkout. These are provided by independent financial services and have their own terms, eligibility requirements, and disclosures.

Important

BNPL services are provided by third parties (Afterpay, Klarna, Affirm), not by Arsh's Rugs. Your loan, payment plan, and credit obligations are with that provider — not with us. Please read each provider's terms before choosing a BNPL option.

Afterpay — Pay in 4

  • Split your purchase into 4 equal payments, paid every 2 weeks
  • 0% APR, no interest charges if paid on time
  • First payment due at checkout; remaining payments automatically charged
  • Late fees may apply if a payment is missed — see Afterpay's terms
  • Available on most orders; eligibility determined by Afterpay at checkout

Klarna — Pay in 4 or Financing

  • Pay in 4: Split your purchase into 4 interest-free payments every 2 weeks
  • Financing: Longer-term financing options available for larger purchases, subject to credit approval
  • Pay in 4 is 0% APR; financing rates vary based on Klarna's credit assessment
  • Late fees may apply for missed payments — see Klarna's terms

Shop Pay Installments (powered by Affirm)

  • Pay in 4: 4 interest-free payments every 2 weeks (orders $50 – $999.99)
  • Monthly Installments: 3, 6, or 12 monthly payments with rates from 0% – 36% APR (orders $50 – $20,000), subject to credit approval
  • Late or missed payments may impact your credit history — Affirm reports to credit bureaus

Choosing the Right Option

If you're not sure which BNPL option fits your situation, the simplest interest-free option is Pay in 4 through Afterpay, Klarna, or Shop Pay Installments — split into four equal interest-free payments. For longer terms or larger purchases, Klarna and Shop Pay financing through Affirm offer extended plans subject to credit approval.

All prices on arshs.com are displayed in U.S. Dollars. Sales tax is calculated automatically at checkout based on your shipping address — see our Sales Tax page for details.

Free shipping applies to orders shipped within the 48 contiguous United States. Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations requires a custom shipping quote — contact info@arshs.com.

International Orders

For international orders, your bank will convert U.S. Dollars to your local currency at its exchange rate, and may charge international transaction or foreign currency fees. You are responsible for any import duties, VAT, GST, or customs fees imposed by your country.

Promotions & Discount Codes

Discount codes must be entered at checkout and cannot be applied retroactively. Most promotions cannot be combined with other discounts. See our Terms & Conditions for full promotional terms.

Authorization Failure

If you see an "authorization failed" message at checkout, double-check that:

  • The card number, expiration date, and CVV are entered correctly
  • The billing address matches the address your bank has on file
  • The card has sufficient available credit or funds
  • Your card is not flagged for international or online fraud protection

If everything looks correct and the payment still fails, contact your bank — many cards have automatic fraud holds on first-time large purchases or out-of-state retailers.

Billing Address Mismatch

The #1 cause of order delays is a billing address that doesn't match what your bank has on file. Make sure your billing address (where your card statement is mailed) matches exactly — including apartment number, ZIP+4, etc. If your shipping address is different, this is fine — but the billing address is what's verified.

Duplicate Charges

If you see two charges for the same order, one is the authorization hold and the other is the actual charge. The hold will drop off within 1–10 business days depending on your bank. If both charges remain after 10 days, contact us immediately at info@arshs.com.

Chargebacks & Disputes

If you have a problem with an order, please contact us first at info@arshs.com or (201) 552-2733. We resolve nearly every issue directly within a few business days. Filing a chargeback before contacting us delays resolution and can affect your ability to order again.

For interior designers, stagers, retailers, and trade buyers, we offer additional payment options on approved accounts:

  • Bank transfer / wire transfer — ACH and wire transfer accepted for orders over $5,000
  • Business check — accepted on approved accounts; orders ship after check clears (typically 5–7 business days)
  • Net 30 terms — available to qualifying trade accounts with established history and approved credit
  • Sales tax exemption — Form ST-3 (NJ) or other valid resale certificates accepted; see our Sales Tax page

If your order is canceled before it ships, the authorization hold or charge will be reversed within 1–10 business days, depending on your payment method and bank.

For returns of shipped orders, refunds are issued to the original payment method once the rug is received and inspected. Most refunds appear within 5–10 business days, though BNPL providers (Afterpay, Klarna, Affirm) may take slightly longer to adjust their installment schedules.

We do not share your credit or debit card information with anyone outside of the payment processors required to complete your transaction (Shopify Payments, PayPal, Afterpay, Klarna, and the credit card networks). Arsh's never stores your full card number, CVV, or PIN on our servers.
