Tribal Kennedy Turkish Hand-Woven Kilim Pillow

Orange and red diamonds float on a streaky blue ground with green accents. The pattern runs edge to edge, so it looks full and lively from any angle. At 18 x 18 inches (46 x 46 cm), this hand woven Turkish kilim throw pillow in blue, rust and green adds instant color and texture.

Boho kilim pillows are one of the most loved ways to add global style to a home, because every handmade piece is different. The front is a hand woven wool kilim. A kilim is a flat weave, so the wool threads are woven tightly in and out by hand instead of being knotted, which gives the pattern its crisp, stepped edges. The hand-spun wool shows soft, natural shifts in color, called abrash, and with no pile to crush or shed it stays smooth and durable. It has a cotton back and a soft, hypoallergenic polyfill insert.

Use it on a reading nook, an entryway bench or a daybed. For a clean, modern look, use a pair on a minimalist sofa; for a relaxed boho look, layer it with throws, rattan and plants.
