Bohemian Kazak Leila Rose/Beige Wool Rug - 9'1''X12'0''

A dusty rose field is filled with neat rows of small navy and tan diamonds and stepped crosses, framed by a matching rose border with a fine geometric edge. It is a 9x12 hand knotted Kazak rug in rose and beige.

Caucasian Kazak rugs were woven for everyday use in village homes, which is why their patterns are strong, simple and made to last. Its all-over rows of small motifs give it a calm, even texture rather than one bold center. This rug is hand knotted in Pakistan with the Turkish double knot, using hand-spun wool and natural vegetable dyes. The wool is rich in lanolin, which gives the pile a soft sheen and helps it resist wear, and the low, dense pile stands up to daily traffic.

It is a great choice for a sunroom, a lake or beach house living room, a living room seating group or a dining room under a table for six to eight. With its geometric motifs and rich color, it suits traditional, farmhouse, lodge and eclectic interiors alike.
