Bohemian Gabbeh Suzann Tan/Brown Wool Rug - 7'10'' x 9'8''

Squares of fine dashes and bars in tan and brown are arranged in a basket-weave checkerboard. The ordered pattern brings structure to a room without feeling busy. It is a bohemian modern Gabbeh 8x10 area rug in tan and brown.

Hand knotted from all-natural, vegetable dyed wool, this modern wool rug has a high knot density and a plush pile that feels soft underfoot. You may notice an abrash, a gentle shift in shade within a single color. It comes from hand-dyed wool and is one of the signs of a handmade, one-of-a-kind rug.

Use it as a living room rug, under a dining table, or in a spacious bedroom. The soft tan and brown palette, with touches of black and beige, is a natural fit for Scandinavian, Japandi, and minimalist rooms, where texture and quiet color do the work. The checkerboard layout suits mid-century modern and modern farmhouse rooms.
