Heritage Collection: Hand-Knotted Wool Area Rugs

The Heritage Collection is our heirloom tier: fine hand-knotted rugs made to be handed down. Most are Pak-Persian rugs woven in Pakistan in a 16/18 quality, a fine, dense weave that lets weavers draw curved vines, small flowers and detailed borders crisply. Designs follow the great Persian traditions, including Tabriz, Kashan and Agra, in deep aubergine, gold, blue, tan and gray, alongside a few Hereke-design Turkish rugs. The wool has a high sheen and the pile is clipped close, so the pattern reads sharply and the rug wears evenly for many years. Sizes run from about 6x9 to 12x16, with rounds as well.
