1990s Vintage Afghan Hand-Knotted Wool Rug - 3'10'' x 6'10''

This hand-knotted Baluch Rug was woven in Northern Afghanistan by Baluch tribal artisans. You may return most new, unopened items within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

We aim to represent all colors as accurately as possible. Please refer to the product title and the list below for a description of the colors shown in the photos. Please keep in mind that new rugs may initially shed and may continue to shed naturally for several months. This is normal for most wool rugs and is not considered a defect.

Rug Care & Maintenance

  • Shedding of loose fibers is normal and will diminish over time with regular vacuuming.
  • Due to natural fibers and craftsmanship, minor imperfections may appear in the weave. These are not defects but common characteristics of handmade items.
  • Vacuum regularly to prevent dust and crumbs from settling into the rug, preferably using suction only or a single beater bar.
  • Do not pull loose ends; trim them carefully with scissors.
  • Keep the rug away from excessive moisture.
  • Blot spills immediately with a clean white cloth.
  • Professional rug cleaning is recommended as needed.
  • Harsh chemicals may damage or fade the rug.
  • Use rug protectors under heavy furniture to prevent crushing.
